Virtual Art therapy

 At the start of the Pandemic, I organized and facilitated a four week long virtual art therapy group that met every Sunday from March to April. The group was designed to create a sense of community at a time when everyone was feeling alone.


Week 1: With the aid of your traced hand, identify current things in our life that are both in and out of your control.

 

Week 2: From a list of preselected words select 3 words that represents pre-covid, covid, and post covid. Create a visual and/or written response for each word.

Week 3: Using a pie chart, graph out the things that have been on your mind for the past week. The larger the slices the more it’s been on your mind

 

Week 4: Choose a song that represents how your week has been. From the song, select a specific lyric that stands out and create a visual response.
